KORONADAL CITY – Authorities arrested two drug suspects, including a city government employee, in an anti-drug buy-bust operation in Purok La Trinidad, Barangay Zone 1, on Monday evening, August 25.
The suspects were identified as Alexander S. Dimayuga, 44, a timekeeper at the City Engineering Office and a resident of Barangay Zone 3; and Rommel O. Baylon, 40, a tricycle driver and a resident of Purok Graciavilla, Barangay Zone 1.
Law enforcers confiscated from their possession one small sachet of suspected shabu serving as a poseur item, another medium-sized heat-sealed sachet containing suspected shabu, and ₱500 in marked buy-bust money with serial number HN592227.
Both Dimayuga and Baylon are now detained at the custodial facility of Koronadal City. They face charges for violation of Sections 5, 11, and 12, Article 2 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
