GENERAL SANTOS CITY — Two suspected drug personalities were arrested and over a quarter million pesos worth of suspected shabu were seized in a joint law enforcement operation conducted in Barangay Fatima, General Santos City, on July 10, 2025.
The operation was carried out by combined forces of Police Station 7 and SWAT/City Mobile Force Company (CMFC) of the General Santos City Police Office, along with units from the Highway Patrol Team of RHPU 12, 1201st Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) 12, Regional Intelligence Division 12, and MARPSTA 12. The team executed a search warrant for violation of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Arrested during the operation were two individuals identified only by their aliases — “Trish,” of legal age, and “James,” 28 years old — both residents of Barangay Fatima.
Authorities confiscated two sachets of suspected shabu with a total weight of 39 grams, carrying an estimated street value of ₱265,200 based on the National Standard Drug Price.
The suspects and the confiscated illegal drugs are now under the custody of Police Station 7 for proper documentation and legal proceedings.
Police Brigadier General Arnold P. Ardiente, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 12, lauded the operatives for their coordinated efforts.
“This successful operation is a testament to our commitment to rid our communities of the drug menace. We will continue to intensify our efforts and ensure that those involved in illegal drug activities are held accountable,” he said.
Authorities said the latest operation is part of PRO 12’s sustained campaign to suppress the illegal drug trade in the region.
