Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte — Authorities arrested a high-value drug personality and four others in a successful joint buy-bust operation on the evening of May 27, 2025, in Barangay Limbo.
The operation, conducted at around 6:40 PM, was a coordinated effort by the Sultan Kudarat Municipal Police Station, Maguindanao del Norte Police Provincial Office, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 14-A, 6th Mechanized Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army, and the Regional Intelligence and Analysis Team–Maguindanao del Norte under the Police Regional Office Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO BAR).
The primary suspect, identified by the alias “Soy,” was arrested after selling a suspected illegal drug item to a poseur-buyer. Four others were apprehended during a pot session at the scene.
Authorities seized approximately 34 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of ₱232,628.00. Also confiscated were:
- One homemade caliber .45 pistol with magazine and live ammunition
- One mini digital scale
- Various drug paraphernalia
- Buy-bust money and additional cash in assorted denominations
All confiscated items were properly marked and inventoried in the presence of a barangay official and a media representative, in adherence to standard procedures.
The suspects are currently detained at the Sultan Kudarat Municipal Police Station, where appropriate charges are being prepared.
