Balabagan, Lanao del Sur – November 10, 2024
A shooting incident on Monday afternoon left two dead and one injured in Barangay Poblacion, Balabagan, Lanao del Sur. The incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. and reportedly stemmed from a heated argument between the victims and suspects.
According to police reports, the victims were identified as Nasrulah Bansil Palawan, 22, and Suwaib Sumail, 32, both residents of Barangay Daguan in Kapatagan. Palawan and Sumail were pronounced dead on the spot. Another individual, Alioden Benito Dara, also from Barangay Daguan, was injured in the altercation.
One of the suspects, Anwr Gomonsang Sumail, was also injured and is currently under tight security at a hospital. Another suspect, Saidamen Gomonsang Sumail, was taken into custody by authorities.
The Balabagan police are conducting a thorough investigation and are looking into possible connections with a similar shooting incident that took place last week.
