Operation Manager Voluntarily Surrenders 16 Unserviceable Firearms to Regional Civil Security Unit in BARMM

Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, Philippines – In a display of support for the Philippine National Police’s ongoing campaign for peace and order, an operations manager voluntarily surrendered 16 unserviceable firearms to the Regional Civil Security Unit (RCSU) of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) on November 6, 2024.

Police Colonel Nachor B. Baucas, Regional Chief of the RCSU BAR, led the formal surrender of the firearms by “Eduardo,” an alias for the operations manager of Asiatic Security Agency. The surrendered firearms included one shotgun and 15 revolvers, all deemed unserviceable.

According to PCol Baucas, the voluntary surrender reflects the strengthened commitment of both the public and private sectors to cooperate with authorities in the drive for a more peaceful and prosperous nation. The PNP continues to enforce laws and enhance efforts to foster safety and security across the country, ensuring that communities remain vigilant and supportive of peacekeeping initiatives.
