Lanao del Sur, October 1, 2024 — The Serbisyong Inklusibo-Alyansang Progresibo (SIAP) Party, in collaboration with its allies from LAKAS-CMD and the local coalition OMPIA Party, officially filed their Certificates of Candidacy (COCs) and Certificates of Nomination and Acceptance (CONAs) for the upcoming 2025 elections. This significant event took place at the Provincial Gymnasium, marking the start of their campaign to continue providing inclusive service to the people of Lanao del Sur.
Among those who filed their candidacies were key leaders who have been at the forefront of public service in the province. The roster includes:
- Governor Mamintal “Bombit” Alonto Adiong Jr.
- Vice Governor Mohammad Khalid R. Adiong
- Congressman Zia-ur Rahman Alonto Adiong (1st District)
- Congressman Yasser Alonto Balindong (2nd District)
In addition to these prominent figures, candidates for board members from the 1st and 2nd districts, along with mayors, vice mayors, and councilors from 39 municipalities and one city, also filed their candidacies. These dedicated public servants are united in their commitment to uphold the mission of the SIAP Party, LAKAS-CMD, and OMPIA Party: to foster peace, progress, and inclusive governance throughout Lanao del Sur.
