PDEA RO BARMM Lanao Del Sur Provincial Drug Enforcement Officers together with elements of the Police Drug Enforcement Unit, LDSPPO, 45 Special Action Company, Task Force Marawi, 500 Combat Engineering Batallion, and Marawi City CPS, under the over-all direct supervision of Director Gil Cesario Castro, Regional Director of PDEA RO BARMM, successfully conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay Cabingan, Marawi City, Lanao del Sur on June 5, 2024, which resulted in the arrests of three (3) high value targets (HVTs) and seizure of one (1) piece vacuum sealed transparent plastic bag labeled as 1688 containing white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride or Shabu weighing MOL 1 kilo with estimated standard drug price of ₱6,800,000.00, buy-bust money, two (2) units mobile phones, one (1) piece black gold plastic bag and assorted identification cards.
Apprehended during the negation operation were Allandoni Alaweya Mendalano also known as Kasim, Sanny Sangkad Kaadeadatu also known as Sanny, and Isnaima Arimao Sapia, also known as Isnampi. The trio are now under the custody of the PDEA BARMM Jail Facility awaiting inquest proceedings for violation of Republic Act 9165 as amended by Republic Act No. 10640, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
This inter-agency efforts of Law Enforcement Units aided the success of this high-impact operation (HIO).
