Police reports said operatives from the Maguindanao del Sur Police Provincial Office and the Provincial Mobile Force Company intercepted a vehicle carrying 5,250 reams of alleged smuggled cigarettes during a mobile patrol operation. The interception led to the arrest of the suspects, who are now under police custody.

Police Regional Office–Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO BAR) said the successful operation highlights the intensified campaign against criminality and smuggling in the province, crediting the firm and proactive leadership of PBGEN Jaysen C.
