Sultan Kudarat Police Provincial Office โ SKPPO Operatives under the supervision of PCOL BERNARD L LAO, Acting Provincial Director conducted buy-bust operation that resulted in the arrest of two drug suspects and confiscation of P59,432.00 worth of shabu at Purok 4, Doรฑa Aurora street, Brgy. Poblacion, Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat at about 1:48 PM of October 10, 2024.
Drug suspects were identified as alias โAronโ, 54 years old, married, and PDEA Street Level Individual listed, and alias โLitaโ, 51 years old, married, and they are both residents of Purok 4, Doรฑa Aurora Street, Brgy. Poblacion, Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat.
During the operation, authorities confiscated six pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu, weighing approximately 8.74 grams, with Standard Drug Price of amounting to P59,432.00.
Said drug suspects and pieces of evidence were brought to Tacurong CPS for proper disposition and documentation and criminal complaints for violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165 are being prepared for filing against the same.
PCOL LAO commended the operating units for their relentless efforts and dedication in intensifying intelligence-driven operations against those involved in the illegal drug trade. He acknowledged their efforts, not only apprehending the suspects but also in disrupting the distribution of illegal drugs, effectively preventing these substances from reaching users. He also emphasized that this operation is a significant step in curbing drug activity and safeguarding the community from the harmful effects of illegal drugs.
