MFBM Releases ₱974.54 Million for Salary Adjustments in BARMM

The Ministry of Finance, and Budget and Management (MFBM) has released ₱974.54 million for salary adjustments across all Ministries, Offices, and Agencies (M/O/As) in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). This move is in compliance with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s Executive Order No. 64 s. 2024, which updates the salary schedule for civilian government personnel and authorizes the grant of an additional allowance.

The funds have been allocated to the following M/O/As in BARMM:

  5. Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE)
  6. Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE)
  7. Ministry of Health (MOH)
  8. Ministry of Public Works (MPW)
  9. Ministry of Interior and Local Government (MILG)
    • Bangsamoro Rapid Emergency Action on Disaster Incidence (BREADI)
    • Special Geographic Area Development Authority (SGADA)
  10. Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Energy (MENRE)
  11. Ministry of Human Settlements and Development (MHSD)

This financial adjustment aims to enhance the welfare of government employees in BARMM, ensuring they receive fair compensation and additional allowances as mandated by the executive order. The MFBM’s timely release of these funds underscores the government’s commitment to supporting its workforce and promoting efficient public service delivery in the region.
