PNP to cooperate to any legislative inquiry; in high hopes to clarify issues on โ€œKOJCโ€ service of warrant arrest

The Philippine National Police (PNP) shall submit itself to any legislative hearing that arises from the ongoing efforts to arrest Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) founder Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and his co-accused.

PNP Chief General Rommel Marbil is confident that this will pave way for the police organization to shed light against a series of false claims attempting to malign the reputation of the PNP and the legality of the execution of the Warrants of Arrest.

โ€œWe are aware about the efforts to openly discuss the matter before a senate committee and we are more than willing to provide the appropriate documents such as court orders that will validate the lawful serving of warrants,โ€ Gen. Marbil said.

The top cop trusts that this process wonโ€™t bring about distraction in the ongoing operation since the PNP is still in high morale to fully serve the arrest warrants. He said that this wonโ€™t falter the operation because failing to move forward means abandoning their mandate as law enforcers.

โ€œWe hope that everything will be fact-based and no politicking will take place for us to focus on what really matters most. We have so much respect to our legislators who upholds the highest standard of integrity and professionalism,โ€ Gen. Marbil added.

Since the first of the implementation of the court order, the PNP has been acting based on a strong legal standing. It continues to adhere to the rules of engagement and lawful serving.
